About
Working as both physiotherapist as well as Assistant Professor, Dr. Sweezel De Souza, PT has exceptional knowledge of her field. She started her career as in-charge of the Department of Physiotherapy, assessing and treating patients at Caritas Physiotherapy Centre, Goa from 2013 till 2014.
Her career as lecturer began in 2014 at Father Muller Medical College Hospital in Mangalore where she taught Bachelor students, was project in-charge for final year students and of course, treated patients there too.
In 2016, she changed to the Goa Medical College as Lecturer where she continued teaching, started managing and arranging classes with clinical teaching as well as providing project and research guidance.
Being back in Goa, she also continued seeing patients at Caritas and at the Wellness Centre in St Inez, Panjim.
Due to her hard work, it was no wonder that Sweezel was offered the role of Assistant Professor at GMC in 2018.
